Christina Leigh Acupuncture is a holistic health and wellness business dedicated to helping people “tap into” the full potential of their body’s power to heal itself. Located in the Devonshire Medical building near Scripps Memorial in Encinitas, Christina Leigh Acupuncture offers comprehensive exams and individualized treatment plans including Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine and Essential Oils.
Christina is a board-certified Acupuncturist with over 12 years of experience in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and truly cares about her patients’ health and well-being. Her passion and dedication to promoting holistic healthcare have encouraged her to educate her patients about optimizing their health and to assist her patients in a faster recovery from disease, illness and injury.
Christina specializes in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms of disease. She emphasizes the importance of treating the root cause of disease and the physiological imbalances that occur from not being corrected or addressed over the course of disease, illness or injury.
Christina treats patients experiencing pain, including but not limited to, musculoskeletal, nerve, emotional and post-op pain and headaches. She also treats patients experiencing digestive issues, anxiety, stress, insomnia and women’s health imbalances.
Christina attended the University of Florida in Gainesville where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Botany. She earned her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture near Boston, Massachusetts. She is currently licensed by the State of California Acupuncture Board and nationally board-certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Christina resides in Encinitas with her husband and three young children and enjoys spending time with her family, playing the drums, swimming and surfing.
