Ribbon Cutting Event: San Dieguito American Legion Post 416

210 West F Street
(760) 753-5674

The San Dieguito American Legion was established in 1931 by World War I Veterans as a sanctuary and meeting place to help them deal with the horrors of that war. The San Dieguito (little San Diego) area spans from Carmel Valley through most of Carlsbad and inland to Black Mountain. For the last 83 years this facility has served veterans, family members and the community through charitable donations and volunteer efforts.

The American Legion is turning 100, and the San Dieguito American Legion Post 416 is celebrating this weekend!

You are cordially invited to the celebration, “A SALUTE TO THE GREATEST GENERATION,” featuring distinguished guest, 97 year old, WWII Paratrooper, Tom Rice.

Festivities will be at the Encinitas Post on Saturday, March 2.
